Wakefield Reads!

Wakefield Reads

Aloha! I hope that everyone’s having an enjoyable summer vacation! I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve been having a great time working on my final project at UMass Boston and attending an AP Workshop at Bridgewater State University! All this learning is making me break a sweat!

(Note: sweat may actually be attributed to high temperatures and humidity.)

In any case, hopefully you’ve gotten a chance to do some great reading this summer! In addition to I Am Malala (which I’m fifteen pages away from finishing), Moby-Dick (an epic, summer-long re-reading experience), and Walden (one of my all-time favorites, which I’ve paired with regular visits to Walden Pond), Marina Keegan’s The Opposite of Loneliness and MT Anderson’s Feed have absolutely rocked my world. They are very, very different books, but both truly wonderful. Check `em out!

With that being said, make sure you’re making time to do some reading that is both assigned and unassigned!
